Casco Viejo — the old colonial quarter — is the center of Panama City nightlife. Tantalo Rooftop has the sunset view over the skyline; La Rana Dorada's taprooms anchor the craft-beer scene; Fridas and Bajareque are the restaurant-bar crossovers.

For dance clubs, Teatro Amador (an old cinema converted to a club) and Casa Jaguar run the electronic-and-Latin rotations until late. The Bella Vista and Obarrio neighborhoods near the business district have the more polished cocktail bars.

Panama runs a 3 AM last call. Casco is walkable and safe on the main plazas; the immediately adjacent barrios change character quickly, so stick to the tourist grid.
